Won't work with phone cover onAnonymous reviewerThe idea is brilliant. They are very flexible, the colour is lovely and the price is good so I bought a few for presents.
However, none of them would work on my phone. They just fell straight out of the phone. It turns out the end connection is just a little short to stay in if the phone has a case. The people I bought for also use phone covers so all had to be returned

Perhaps I could buy a dedicated cable with a USB-C female socket on it, for a minimum of £5, to test it and see if it works then, but it hardly seems worth it. Guidance about where this lamp is likely to work (ie what sort of female USB-C socket) would have been useful before purchase. lack of guidance is rather shoddy of IKEA. I'll put it down to a bad experience.
