This hanging parasol lets you enjoy a sunny day in the shade, without having a pole that blocks your view or gets in the way. And if the canopy gets dirty, it’s easy to remove it from the frame and wash.

Product details

The fabric gives very good protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 25+, which means it blocks 96% of the ultraviolet radiation.

It’s easy to keep the canopy clean and fresh since you can easily remove and machine wash it.

The air vent reduces wind pressure and allows heat to circulate.

The hook-and-loop strap keeps the fabric in place when folded.

The colour stays fresh for longer, as the fabric is highly resistant to fade thanks to the good lightfastness.

The dope-dyeing process reduces consumption of water and dyestuff while improving colour fastness compared to traditional dyeing techniques.

The parasol does not provide protection against reflected or scattered solar ultraviolet radiation.

The best way to extend the life of your parasol is by cleaning it regularly, protecting it with a cover whenever not in use and storing it in a cool, dry place indoors when the season is over.

Do not bleach.

Tumble drying, low temperature (max 60°C).

Iron, max 110°C.

Do not dryclean.

Safety and compliance

Didn't like the sandbag option for anchoring but we are currently using slabs which aren't too attractive either. Very easy to open and close. Only problem is moving our furniture to follow the shade it produces as it can't be moved. Have since bought a second one before they become out of stock. 5

A quality product...well made and easy to set up and useAnonymous reviewerThe 50% off the full price plus a £10 voucher made this and excellent value for money purchase. We had to purchase 4 slabs in order to anchor the parasol to the ground but these cost very little and worked very effectively. We also bought a waterproof cover to protect it from the sun and weather, and also cover up it's whiteness, which stood out in the garden. These are minor issues, which were easily resolved. Given its size when fully extended this product would only be suitable for a good sized patio area, which we have so it was a good choice.4

Can’t buy replacement canopyAnonymous reviewerI bought this on the basis that I could replace the canopy rather than have to buy a whole new umbrella if it was damaged. They’ve changed the wording that you can remove to wash it where is before you were able to replace it I have two of these umbrellas, both of the canopies Have torn where the material has weakened with age and now I have no option but to buy new as they no longer have the canopy available 3
