Product details

The sturdy solid pine frame has natural variations in grain, colour and texture, giving every piece a unique look. And it has been stained and lacquered making it more durable and easy to care for.

You can sit up comfortably in bed thanks to the high headboard – just prop some pillows behind your back and you will have a comfortable place to read or watch TV.

Beautiful craftsmanship all the way around. Why not place it in the middle of the room to create impact?

There’s plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes – great for stowing extra duvets and sheets.

The high footboard keeps bed textiles from falling onto the floor while you sleep.

Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.

LURÖY slatted bed base with curved slats helps to absorb your body weight and supports your body, while the open construction allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh.

Decent Bed but Noisy When MovingAnonymous reviewerI'm honestly a bit unsure how to rate this bed. It looks fine and is generally okay for use, but it keeps making creaking or squeaking noises whenever I move or turn over in bed. It’s quite noticeable and a bit annoying, especially at night. I’m not sure if the issue is with the bed frame itself — maybe the bottom support bars — or if it has something to do with how it was assembled. It's possible the assembly wasn’t done properly, but I can’t say for sure. Overall, it works, but the noise is definitely a downside.3

Think it was just this one.Anonymous reviewerThis is the 3rd Hemnes bed I’ve brought and assembled, and it was also the worst one. Firstly most of the dowels were too wide(I was using the correct ones) and then 1 of the screw locks sheared off and another had warped. Luckily I always keep any spare fixings so managed to find enough to assemble bed. As I said I’m hoping it was just this one so yes I would buy it again.3

Frustrating assemblyAnonymous reviewerThe assembly of the cross bars , towards the end, is very frustrating. Bed is relatively easy to assemble up until then. At this point you have to screww in a really small screww to hold 2 cross bars. I was using all my strength and after an hour of total frustration managed to get them to hold together. However a few days later after moving the bed, one of them has fallen off. Having looked online, the cross bars seem to be an issue, but more so with the single bed, given that you are trying to screww into the two bars to keep them together. Poor design. I have had to spell screww like this as it is saying review contains inappropriate language.1
