This pot makes it easier for you to fix dinner. Sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating, lightweight design and a lid with small holes for pouring water are helpful features. It works well on induction hobs too.

The hardwearing sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating reduces the risk of food burning or getting stuck.

Comfortable handles make the cookware easy to lift.

The pot has small holes in the lid that reduce the risk of the contents boiling over and allow you to easily pour the water out through the lid when the food is ready.

Made from aluminium, which spreads heat evenly and energy efficiently, and makes it easier to regulate heat so the food does not burn and stick.

Pot with lidAnonymous reviewerI've purchased several of these pots over the last 20 years but the design has recently been updated and there are no clips to hold the lid in place anymore for draining. Really disappointing Ikea. Please bring back the old design.1

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
