We have kept the old ones as they are still in amazing condition for their age. Really elevated our living space5

Why are the even called Oak Veneer?Anonymous reviewerI know IKEA's Oak Veneer can differ between ranges, but these aren't even CLOSE to the Oak Veneer within the Besta range. We have 3 Oak Veneer Besta frames, one old, two brand new, and two Sindvik Oak Veneer glass doors. All match perfectly. As IKEA no longer do the solid Lappviken in the Oak, these are the only solid Oak option without glass... except they AREN'T, as they're a completely different colour. If these reviews allow pictures I would show just how bad they don't match. So there are no non-glass Oak options for the Besta, which is utterly ridiculous, and these seem to be designed only to go with the white or black, in which case you should stop calling them the same as the Oak Veneer as it's incredibly misleading.1

Looks great if you are luckyAnonymous reviewerEach piece looks a bit different. Some of them have some darker veins that looks a bit like stain. Some are lighter and some darker so they don’t always look good when put together. Also it is not so easy to level the door to be straight. Usually there is uneven gap between them. Overall I’m happy with them as I have 4 pieces and 3 look as I expected. I also think it is great value for money.4
