The soft-closing mechanism is integrated into the rails and catches the doors as they run on the rails so that they open and close slowly, quietly and softly.
These HASVIK doors have a high-gloss white finish. They are also available in matte white and a variety of wooden effect finishes.
Sliding doors allow more room for furniture because they don’t take any space to open.

Great sliding doorsAnonymous reviewerInatructions were difficult to follow, a lot of drawings with fingers pount8ng but items not made clear. We were able to connect two sets together for the effect we wanted. In my opinion the dust cover was too short and didn't even cover one door.
Large gap between frame & sliding doorAnonymous reviewerHaving reviewed the wardrobes in the showroom, I chose pax wardrobe with sliding doors. Happy with the wardrobe, quality & appearance. However, the sliding doors when assembled & fitted, leave large gaps between the wardrobe frame & the doors, neither door fits flush against the frame. This is very disappointing as the wardrobe doors are open allowing flying insects or spiders to get in. Leaving your clothes unprotected. Ikea please advise what I can do to rectify this. I would not have purchased sliding doors if I had known this.

Fantastic basic wardrobe Anonymous reviewerReally pleased with wardrobe. Very easy to assemble the box frames and the sliding doors were just a hook and click which was the bit we had been dreading. The instructions on the door fittings took a while to work out but we got there in the end. Fitting the clothes rails was a bit tricky to position and click into place.

Prior to making my purchase I was given print outs giving dimensions & other informative about units which helped me to plan my bedroom space. Staff were very helpful.
