I've got a dodgy back (car accident) and I worried about leaning over to change nappies (I'm 6'5"), but this is really tall and doesn't bother me at all. The shelves provide great storage for nappies, clothes, wipes, etc... there's even decent space under the lowest shelf. It's really sturdy and clearly well-designed. Well worth the price, too.
We purchased the kids-style numbered boxes that Ikea sell for storage and also bought the changing mat with a cover, which my daughter finds very comfortable (she's quite settled when she lays on it).
Of all the items we've purchased for my baby daughter, this changing station is by far the best one.
