This smart plug allows you to control lights and household appliance from afar – helping you make life at home smoother and more comfortable.

Transform a lamp or smaller household appliance you already have at home into a smart product with this pre-paired kit.

This plug also allows you to keep track of your power usage and adjust your daily routines to save energy.

Use the IKEA Home smart app, a remote control or a motion sensor to turn the plug on or off. You can connect up to 10 plugs to one remote control or motion sensor.

This smart product uses the universal standard Matter, making it easy to install, operate and add to DIRIGERA hub and to other well-known systems.

British Continental style flatAnonymous reviewerThe plug itself works really well and makes it easy to switch things on and off. However, the wall mounting for the remote isn’t as good as the older magnetic version (like the STYR ones). This new one uses adhesive only, so it can come loose quite easily if you knock or brush against it — especially noticeable when you’re reaching for it in the dark. A magnetic option like before would be much more reliable for daily use.3

No issues, exposes all states and power meter readings. If you bought the pre-paired plug and controller hold the button down for 10s to re-pair it with your OTBR.5
Not straightforward enough for beginners; no documentation for expert usersAnonymous reviewer- The plug and remote don't come paired - so this takes a bit of effort to setup. - The remote is a pain - set to control a smart bulb, its slow, responds randomly and can't be used to control dimming with a continuous press, but only preset levels. - It's super cheap, so worth a gamble. - Would be useful to know if the plug is a Thread repeater, as then a few can be used to extend a border router's reach.3

Whilst the plug paired effortlessly with my existing Apple Home system, the remote took a bit more effort but eventually I got it paired and it's been working perfectly ever since.
