We’ve had two people stay and they had both said it’s comfortable, it’s really easy to pull out into the double and put away again.5

The bed itself is fine, but the design process means one wrong move during installation can see all the metal bars fall in a sequence I thought only possible in cartoons. What an absolute disaster 1

Stylish, long lasting, high quality bedAnonymous reviewerOwned this bed for about 7 years. Excellent quality, solid metal. Primarily bought it as the bed turns into a double with a height difference between the two sides and does so in a robust and solid way. I've moved house since and the design is really clever. I can deconstruct and reconstruct without have to take off the fragile plastic pieces that hold the ribbing to support the mattress (these always snap if you need to remove them). This ensures longevity in the product. I also like the deconstruction instructions, again clever design. The finish and quality is stylish and industrial looking. It's taken a few knocks and never scratched. Mattresses are just foam, but does the job for guests staying over. This bed is never meant to compete with luxury mattresses and feel the mattresses are good enough quality for the intended use. Totally would recommend and glad Ikea are still selling this product! 5

Excellent sofa bed but did not liked to cover them with a bed sheet during the day as the sheet kept on slipping in all directions while using it. But I found this excellent fitted sofa bed sheet cover on Etsy that is like a fitted cover for both the mattresses in one. Just loved it. Now my sofabed looks fab during the day. my relatives saw it and bough it too. IKEA missed to launch such product. To buy search Etsy with the words "IKEA Day Bed Sofa bedsheet Cover for Mattress" Use lots of cushion at the back during day !5

I have dismentled a number of times and still very firm as new. It is not an easy task putting it together however I managed on my own. The matressess have a very good quality as they remain intact and covers are easy to wash. Highly recommended.5
