Nice design but has an annoying flawAnonymous reviewerI bought this for my 3D printer and soldering activities in my bedroom, with the gas and particle filters. So far they appear to be good at reducing smells and hopefully airborn dust debris from the printer.
It's an attractive and stylish unit with 3 fan speeds. The slowest speed is virtually silent and does not disturb my sleep, and the higher settings are suitable for my printing and soldering needs.
The only negative is that the front panel fitting is flawed. It has a thick rubber tab sticking out sideways to aid with its removal, to access the filters. However the tab has to bend 90 degrees when the panel is fitted, causing it to act like a spring which pushes the panel back off of its mounting pegs after just a few seconds, leaving the panel looking like it's about to fall off.
I fixed this by completely removing the tab. Not ideal and probably voids any warranty, but at least the panel now stays in place.
I would recommend the unit if you can live with the panel issue.
