Product details

The FINMAT series, designed by Ilse Crawford, is cookware pieces in copper and stainless steel that are beautiful to look at and simple and inspiring to use.

Works well on all types of hobs, including induction hob.

Copper darkens and tarnishes naturally over time, so you can always choose whether you want to keep the beautiful patina or polish up the shine so your cookware looks like new again.

The edge is designed so that it doesn’t drip after you pour out liquid.

The copper has a robust and tactile look that adds a soft touch to the kitchen, while providing an even and efficient heat transfer too.

The inside is made of durable stainless steel, which makes the pot easy to both use and clean.

You can use this frying pan both on the stove and in the oven, and bring it to the table and serve from it.

The shiny, mirror-like inside reflects the ingredients and elevates the cooking experience.

The base is made of polished stainless steel that works great on an induction hob.

Hang your cookware on display to give your kitchen a look that is both traditional and professional.

Choose one, several or all of the cookware in the FINMAT series – they’re designed to complement each other and take your cooking to new levels.

The cookware is stackable to save space if you want to store them in a kitchen cabinet.

15 year guarantee. Read about the terms in the guarantee brochure.

Copper needs care - in a good wayAnonymous reviewerHaving bought a few copper pots over the years I regularly read reviews of people saying that they finish looks tarnished or peeling off. Yes, if you chuck it in the dishwasher like any other pan, it will come out looking like it's seen better days. These parts need hand washing and regular application of Brasso and elbow grease. Do that and they'll back to their best in no time Advantage of a copper pot is that it spreads the heat more evenly but make sure you always work at a lower temperature or food will stick. This Ikea pan was fine. Not the cheapest but I like it4
The copper "paint" is coming off after one use/washAnonymous reviewerI used this pan once and hand washed it - the copper paint is coming off from the sides already. This costed GBP 60 - not cheap at all - I bought it literally 2 days back.1
"Copper" rubbed offAnonymous reviewerThe copper coating (paint?) has come off in one area after one use, handwashed. I had a gift voucher from work so not super upset as it is just decoration, quite shoddy though!1
Great quality and value Anonymous reviewerThe pan has a lovely heavy feel in the hand - we've only used it once (on an induction hob) and it heated up very quickly. Would recommend it5
Bump on the inside the base layerAnonymous reviewerNot bad quality frying pan apart from a bump appeared inside inner layers only after cooking handful of times. It says 15 years guarantee let’s see.3
Loving it!!Anonymous reviewerHas a nice weight to it and looks pretty as well as lovely to cook in! Trying to replace our pans with good quality ones and this one is great 5

Designer thoughts

“I love to cook and know how important it is to have beautiful, well-thought-out and high-quality cookware. When I designed the FINMAT series, I wanted to make cookware that appeals to our senses and inspires cooking – in your kitchen or even outdoors over an open fire. The stainless steel makes them hardwearing and easy to use, while the copper has a soft, tactile and robust expression. Stack the pots and pans in the cabinet, or even better – hang them on display!"
