Product details
Seat cushions filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibre wadding give comfortable support for your body, and easily regain their shape when you get up.
The reversible back cushion of polyester fibre gives soft support for your back and two sides to wear.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.
The Kilanda fabric with a melange effect is made of at least 90 percent recycled polyester and has a soft surface.

Safety and compliance
The cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

Very comfortableAnonymous reviewerWas easy to put together, did the chair with my 11 year old daughter & the ottoman on my own. They are both very comfortable to sit on, although we use the ottoman as a footstool & coffee table (using a tray for cups) the ottoman has a lot of space for storage, although the top is fairly heavy to manoeuvre, so I wouldn't use for every day items. I haven't removed & washed the covers yet but I do have an Ektorp 2 seat sofa which is about 6 years old now & the covers are easy to clean. Also like that I can purchase new covers if I decide I need a change.
DJAnonymous reviewerEasily assembled item. Very comfortable and roomy armchair. Bought this along with the footstool. Only downside is the cover is not a 'snug' fit to the seat cushion. When you rise from the chair you witness a wrinkled mess left behind.
Just what we wantedAnonymous reviewerThis is nice looking furniture - the blue is the exact colour I was looking for - it is very comfortable and suits out traditional style. Our room is relatively small about 12' ×13' - we bought two armchairs, a two seater sofa and a footstool and they fit perfectly. They were easy to assemble - once you've done one the rest are simple. We ordered another set of covers while they were available.
I hope we get many years from this furniture.

Nice colour but the chair isn’t what ektorp used to be Anonymous reviewerI find this new armchair far less comfortable than the ektorp I bought 10+ years ago, the seat cushion is already misshaped and the padding in the arms seems thinner than before.
