Each armchair has a unique expression since the wooden frame is first stained in a dark-brown tone and then covered with clear lacquer that makes the wood’s natural grains visible.
High-resilience foam in the seat and back makes the armchair regain its shape when you stand up, and it’s complemented with zigzag springs in the seat and supportive fabric in the back for a firm comfort.
You will sit stable and steady for years to come since the frame is made of hardwearing solid wood. You also enjoy a relaxed sitting position thanks to the angled backrest.
The tall legs in solid wood make it easy to vacuum or reach things hiding under the armchair to avoid clutter.
The elegant, fixed cover has a perfect fit that will last over time. You can choose from different covers and find one that suits you and your home.

The EKENÄSET was a piece of cake to assemble. It looks far more expensive than it really is and, to my eyes at least, is a timeless, classic design. It’s very comfortable and I find the design promotes good posture. The 10-year guarantee is very reassuring.
My only reservation relates to the lack of colour options, especially for the wooden frame which is very dark brown. It’s solid wood though and overall the chair is sturdy and well-made.

Comfortable, small chairAnonymous reviewerWe needed an extra seat over Christmas. This one fitted the bill perfectly. Its small footprint means it can move easily between rooms and is fpvery comfortable. It’s no good to curl up in but we weren’t looking for that function.

But unsure of the grey colour. So when this delish teal & dark wood combo came out was sold. It’s not cheap. But it’s real wood and compared to similar versions sold elsewhere reasonable value. Glad to say it’s on point and with a velvet pouffe from Dunelm and a lovely reading light from John Lewis now my happy place to work and read. You won’t be disappointed.
