The upholstered seat and comfortable angle of the backrest make the bar stool perfect for long dinners.

The cover is easy to remove, machine-wash and put back on again.

Footrest for extra sitting comfort.

Solid wood chair frame makes the construction durable and very sturdy.

Available as bar stool or as a lower counter-height stool suitable for kitchen counters or kitchen islands.

    Frame

    Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.

    Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

    For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Beautiful bar stoolAnonymous reviewerLoved this bar stools when we saw them in shop. However slight disappointment as they don’t stock them in many stores. Ordered and waited but then had multiple dodgy screws. Ikea have replaced them free of charge but the delivery on the screws is 7-10 working days, so after the initial purchase still cannot use them 3 weeks later. Considering the price this is very disappointing. 4

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Function solution

Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
