This frame is ideal to use with ALFTA adhesive hook. With the hook you can easily hang the frame without nails or screws and decorate your walls with pictures.

Can be used hanging or standing, both horizontally and vertically, to fit in the space available.

PH-neutral mount; will not discolour the picture.

Front protection in plastic makes the frame safer to use.

Available in different sizes.

This frame fits with a picture that has dimensions 10x15 cm if you use it with the mount, and it fits with a picture that has dimensions 13x18 cm if you choose to use the frame without the mount.

The mount will not turn yellow since it is acid-free.

On inspection the plastic cover had two printed black triangular marks on it meaning they would show over the picture Unfortunately I cannot add a photo but they are the black triangular stamp marks normally found on the paper label they are marked PE-LD1

Frame has deflectedAnonymous reviewerBought the largest size. Happy at first but after a few months on the wall the frame has deflected so that the perspex etc pops out. There is a very narrow lip for the perspex and backing board to sit on, so any movement in the frame causes this problem.1

Great!Anonymous reviewerI wanted the largest size frame 61cm x 91cm to display a poster, so it needed to be well made and not flimsy. This one has nice sturdy sides and so fitted the bill. It also matches the profile of our door frames so that's a bonus. One thing to mention - in the store I thought the clear plastic sheet didn't look as crystal clear as glass would be. I held the frames (still in their shrink-wrap) up to the light and kept rejecting them because the clear plastic seemed to have scuffs on it. I must have rejected about 15 frames before finding one that seemed to be OK. Anyway when I got the frame home and unwrapped it, I discovered the plastic sheet was covered on both sides with protective film... needless to say after removing the film, it was perfectly clear, just like glass, and free of scuffs, as probably were all the frames I had rejected! The frame looks great with the poster in it and I'd happily recommend it to others!5

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
