Reviews

Fab knife setAnonymous reviewerThese are ideal small knives, just what I was looking for. 5
Just the right size Anonymous reviewerDelighted with my order or 8 x6 dessert knives. Ordered them to provide an afternoon tea for 40 people. Only issue is a couple of the knives are poor quality and showing rust. 4
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerVery small and flimsy2
Bought to match our other cutlery.Anonymous reviewerProduct absolutly fine. An awful lot of packaging though.5
Small knives for knife stuff. Anonymous reviewerKinda does what a knife should but on a smaller scale. Cute for that afternoon tea vibe.5
Used a children’s cutleryAnonymous reviewerBought these to go with the desert forks as they are smaller than normal ones and it teaches the children to use metal cutlery set (bought for use with childminded children) they are safe to use on children aged 4-8 who struggle holding the bigger “normal size” cutlery. Great purchase and great price 5
Great for children's small handsAnonymous reviewerGood quality and good size5
Use as kids cutleryAnonymous reviewerWe’ve bought a few sets of these to use as cutlery for the kids. They are sharp enough to actually cut food unlike most cutlery intended for kids. Perfect size for little hands.5
Smaller knivesAnonymous reviewerAs above and fine for side dishes.4
Not very good unless your a child.Anonymous reviewerCan't even spread a sandwich with the knife only suitable for children.2
Anonymous reviewerDoes the job perfectly . Looks good.5
Great for kids cutleryAnonymous reviewerwe used these for kids cutlery as they are not super sharp and about the right size for kids who dont want to feel like they are using baby plastic cutlery. well made and do the job.4

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.

Quality

A few words on cutlery

All cutleries need some care to maintain their original finish. Rinse cutlery after use to remove any scraps of food, even if you plan to wash up later. If you use a dishwasher, choose a shorter cycle and dry the cutlery by hand. That way you avoid rust spots caused by food that sticks to the cutlery, or by leaving cutlery too long in the hot, humid air inside the machine. Good advice doesn't have to be expensive.

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

"When designer Carl-Gustaf Jahnsson created the DRAGON cutlery set his goal was that it should appeal to most people, be suitable for most things and have a timeless look. He succeeded so well that the cutlery has outlived all our other cutlery series. And even though it has been produced in many different places in the world, the cutlery has always kept its original form. A truly faithful servant that also does a good job at many of the restaurants in our stores."
