Product details

Ample storage space is hidden neatly under the bed in 4 large drawers. Perfect for storing duvets, pillows and bed linen.

This compact bed frame fits easily in tight spaces and under low ceilings, allowing you to maximise the space in your bedroom.

This versatile bed frame will look great with your choice of textiles and bedroom furniture.

Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.

LÖNSET slatted bed base with curved slats and comfort zones helps keep your spine aligned, while the open construction allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh.

Squeak Anonymous reviewerI’ve owned the bed for just over year and have had lots of issues. I’ve had a replacement headboard sent by Ikea but the problems persisted. The bed frame squeaks at the slightest movement, sitting on the bed or rolling over. It was very fiddly to put together and I am expecting to have to replace it in a few months time. I’d recommend investing in a more expensive frame. The bed does look great, the draws are really big and great storage. Disappointed that overall it isn’t a long term option. 2

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.

“Living in a small space often presents big demands for smart storage. That’s what we wanted to solve by creating BRIMNES – a series of functional bedroom furniture with storage in every piece. And at a low price. We made the bed frame with generous drawers and the headboard with room for books, magazine files and holes for cables. The wardrobe was given adjustable shelves so that you can maximise your storage. We hope you will enjoying living with this furniture in your home for a long time – regardless of whether you combine them or use them as individual pieces."
