The mixer tap insert has hard, durable ceramic discs that can handle the high friction that occurs when you change the temperature of the water.

The handle sits on top of the tap, making it easy for you to reach when turning the water on or off.

An aerator integrated in the tap keeps the water flow just right while less water and energy is used.

Stylish and sleek!Anonymous reviewerVery happy with our kitchen tap.5
Kitchen mixer tapAnonymous reviewerLooks good was easy to install very happy with this purchase would have been nice to collect in store but delivery was quick5
Great design Anonymous reviewerI love the design of this tap with the controls on the top however the one down side is the tap should project a little longer as it’s hard to get the kettle under 4
Comes looseAnonymous reviewerHad this tap fitted and after 1 year it had become loose at the base. It has not solid base to turn the tap on as the base turns with the tap and hence over time this has loosened off. Have drawers below the sink so an absolute hassle to tighten every year. Tighten tap twice now so just going to replace the tap. It is a lovely looking tap if functioned properly. 1
3rd house where we’ve used this tapAnonymous reviewerWhat more can I say, this is by far the best tap which is why we keep buying it for different houses. Can rotate almost 180 degrees so moves out of the way of the sink if needed. Doesn’t show finger marks easily. Looks timeless. Never had any issues with it. 5
The best design Anonymous reviewerSaw this in a video from a designer who suggested that having control away from counter top helps water from hands to drip directly into sink when you turn the tap off. Perfect design, I’m even able to leave a table cloth on top of main body of the tap. We had this tap for over a year now and I never needed to clean it yet! Great product, highly recommend.5
Not 'all' stainless :-(Anonymous reviewerUnder 'Product details' under 'Materials...' it states 'Stainless steel, Metallized'. What does this mean? For comparison, the other tap offerings never state 'Stainless', some state 'Zinc', 'Brass', etc. I'm sad to report that not every part that looks like stainless, is in fact stainless: the 'main pipe/body' is stainless, but the lever/head is plated cack-metal, and the 'plinth' at the base is the same (probably chrome plated zinc or zamac). I have pictures as proof, but cannot submit them. Why are the facts not specified? I feel cheated i.e. when it looks like stainless, and its sold as stainless, but its not stainless, then I consider it 'mild fraud' at the very least. Why is this tap so expensive then?1
Beautiful designAnonymous reviewerSo hard to find a tap that looks this good. Its simple, slightly industrial design is a works great in our slightly deco kitchen.5
Nice TapAnonymous reviewerVery simple tap to install and very easy to use. Does look unique and has good movement!5
Quirky and contemporaryAnonymous reviewerOld mixer tap failed so opted for this. Huge upgrade and works really well once you get used to it as it’s like operating a beer tap!5

Energy and resources

Did you know using water more efficiently can reduce your energy bills and help tackle climate change?

Heating hot water accounts for 25% of home energy usage. Using water efficiently reduces energy bills and ultimately reduces carbon emissions. Look for the unified water label and start making a difference. The label has a clear colour coded system to show how much energy and water the product uses. Green rated products use less than those rated Red. Visit www.uwla.eu to find out more.

Material

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
