Our skirting is particularly high so this doesn't work. There is a gap at the top ..however the cabinet it's self is very good and holds 4x large men's shoes in each section
Disappointing and poorly designedAnonymous reviewerThe design of this shoe cabinet is deeply flawed. Assembly was a struggle — the screw holes for attaching the drawers were misaligned and not secure, making the whole process frustrating. The wood is soft and fragile, so the holes expanded too easily when drilling, and the drawers couldn't hold properly. Within just a couple of days, one drawer completely detached and crashed onto the floor with a loud bang. For safety and durability, this product really fails to deliver.

Definitely not worth moneyAnonymous reviewerAfter couple of months it startted to broken inside folding mechasims since upper floor is broken, lower floor is also blocked by upper one. So each time openning/closing becomes nightmare and I just leave it only putting shoe top of cabinet without using compartments :D. Forgot to return and staying useless without any shoe inside it. I guess problem is side walls are not matching with lenght of folding/opening mechanism's inside wall so it startted to fall from mechasim. I strongly suggest standard shoe racks not this cabinet type especially if you planning to buy from Ikea.
