Utterly useless - complete waste of moneyAnonymous reviewerI know it's only £3 but it should still work, right?
I tried numerous times to connect to my Thread network (Google TV Streamer) and it kept failing.
When it finally managed connect all that was available was a single switch functionality.
What happened to the second button?
What happened to the dimming function?
I assumed something must have gone wrong when pairing, so I removed the device from Home and attempted to pair it again. Again it failed several times.
I persevered, I wish I had given up earlier. I ended up with three devices connected to my home but all were offline.
I deleted one, they all disappeared. Oh, ok, I'll try again... 🤦♂️
Now I can consistently connect the device but every time I do the devices show up and they're all offline.
No automations work with these offline devices, nothing I do can possibly resurrect them.
Someone said I'd have better luck with the Drigera Hub - lol like I'm going to gamble with £70 only to discover it's still useless!
Dosent work Anonymous reviewerI brought two within the last month and they die quickly when working and when there not working the light show but very dim even when I replace the battery’s. It never connect with the app even tho I have a hub. Absolutely a waste

AwfulAnonymous reviewerFirstly this is small and fiddly. Nowhere near as substantial as the old one and and an awful design. And cheaply made with a sticker to fit it on the wall or cupboard. Not doing that on a New Kitchen. You can evidently use it with some modern app but that was really unclear. Indeed there was nothing in the instructions at all. I had an experienced Kitchen Fitter who I have to say has worked for IKEA and he had no idea how to get this to work with the lighting. Indeed three of us tried. He had to get in contact with someone in another country and we finally got some answers. There is another version of this with a fade wheel touch sensor and this we also tried and failed. Anyway he spent ages of his time dealing with this and mine for that matter.
We have bought 2 now and niether work.Anonymous reviewerWe have just had our kitchen fitted and the original remote would not sink in to the light system so we bought another remote and again it doesn't sink in....It just keeps flashing amber on the controller, even the kitchen fitter couldn't get it to work.

No way near as good as the old style shortcut buttonsAnonymous reviewerWe have three of the old style shortcut remotes which all work great - no issues. Have had one of these for a week and it's already disconnected three times, and every time it goes offline, the only option seems to be to remove it from your system entirely and add it again. It also takes a few attempts to add every time too. Extremely frustrating.
Don't buyAnonymous reviewerStraight forward enough to pair but then stopped working. Intermittently powers off and on. Bought one last month and exactly the same issue, returned for a replacement. The replacement is just as bad.
Great 'WHEN' it worksAnonymous reviewerHave this set up to turn on the 'Ring' garden lights through Alexa... 7 out of 10 times it will work, then for no reason, the device is no longer seen in the Amazon app, and I have to go through the whole set-up process again ...they say you get what you pay for, and I guess thats true with this product, have lost faith in it and wouldn't purchase again.

Design Defects BewareAnonymous reviewerSome of the remotes will just be dead on arrival, some will turn on but never pair with your DIRIGERA and a few actually work but with severe latency. 2/3 of mine were completely dead on arrival and the 1 that worked has severe latency issues when it can be around 6-8 seconds before a press is registered. Be wary of these devices.

I've set this up to control my living room lighting and it works really well. With two buttons on the remote and the option to double or single press each button, you have 4 possible automations.

Finally, a budget button that actually works!Anonymous reviewerI've been using the IKEA BILRESA for a bit, and for the price of a coffee, it's a total steal for Matter-over-Thread.
It finally ditches annoying coin cell batteries for two standard AAAs. It's slightly thicker, but way easier to just use rechargeables. The magnetic wall mount is a great touch—I’ve got the plate on the wall so it looks like a normal switch, but I can pop the remote off to use from the sofa whenever I want.
Performance is rock solid. Beyond the six standard actions (single, double, long press), there’s a "hidden" seventh action: the Long Press Release. Since it's on Matter, it knows exactly when you let go, which is perfect for dimming my KAJPLATS bulbs—I just hold to dim and release when it’s right. With a decent Thread mesh, the response is near-instant. Definitely worth picking up a few.
Probably the worst product design in historyAnonymous reviewerThe magnetic backing plate is in the centre of the body which has a large curve away from that centre. This means whenever someone presses slightly off-centre on the switch it falls off the wall. What's worse is the stupid things are so poorly built this even usually kills it or at best makes it forget its connection and need to be re-paired. The whole thing is utterly frustrating.
Excellent value & functionality.Anonymous reviewerWorks great. Bought these to control Kajplats bulbs. All works well with my Google provisioned Matter over Thread infrastructure. No IKEA smart home app or IKEA hub required. Powered them up & Google Home immediately found them and guided me through the setup process. This is how simple smart home setup should be.
Hit and MissAnonymous reviewerDifficult to connect to HomeKit, one connected, eventually 10 attempts, it works fine. The other connected , eventually 5 attempts, and then dropped out and hasn’t reconnected.
