It’s easy to keep the cables from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cable outlets at the back of the TV bench.

The cable outlet at the top lets cables run down smoothly into the TV bench.

The legs raise your BESTÅ combination from the floor, giving it a light airy look and making it easy to clean the floor underneath.

The two drawers make it easy to keep remote controls, game controllers and other TV accessories organised.

The drawers close silently and softly, thanks to the integrated soft-closing function.

Good to know

We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 45 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it’s not heavier than the specified max load for the bench’s top.

If you choose the soft closing function for your BESTÅ, we recommend complementing the fronts with knobs/handles to make the drawers/cabinets more convenient to open.

The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 16 kg.

Perfect Anonymous reviewerNervous with the negative reviews but we thought it can go back so why not try it. Followed instructions and looks good. Just watch the hole positions in the instructions and do the same. We purchased the push to open doors, white gloss, white block legs, glass top, and a middle support. Top tip, people complaining about a large gap at the front need to use the off set bracket rather than the single pin to hold the shelf. The offset has a L and R stamp on it for the correct side. Comes with the offset bracket and it’s about an inch tall but you can’t see it. This shifts the shelf level with the front frame and leaves a gap at the back for cables. The door has a small gap to allow the push open to work but it’s a small gap. We purchased the 2 door (£160) and 3 door £202. Used one in a child’s bedroom and looks great. 5
Soft close draws don't work, can't open, why give that as an optionAnonymous reviewerWhen buying it gives you the option of soft close or push open door slides. Why give an option that does not work? It can be installed but for this type of cabinet there is no handle, edge or hold you can use to open the drops. So with soft close sliders it's impossible to open the drops... Seems illogical to allow someone ordering online to pick an option that makes it unusable?1
Poor designAnonymous reviewerI bought the two drawer white stained Oak effect 120x40x64 Besta tv unit. No problem with the unit itself, but when the drawers are closed there is about an inch gap where drawer contents can easily be seen. The shelf needs to de deeper (as shown on the picture of the white one) . This is quite clearly a design fault or the designer identified the wrong top to cover the drawer. Not at all pleased1
Extremely poor qualityAnonymous reviewerThe shelves once fitted were not level and are not adjustable. The drawers were also not straight once fitted. They were so wonky they would not close, even once they had been adjusted. I had to drill additional holes and move the runners in order to get it straight enough to even close the drawers. One of the drawer fronts was also delivered with a chip in it.1
Poor IkeaAnonymous reviewerI assembled this unit as per the provided instructions, which were poor, and upon inserting the drawer units I saw that they are misaligned. The drawers touch at the top and space out at the bottom, I thought I could live with this fault but as it is a focal point in the room it will have to go, shame as I had also bought several packets of screw covers to cover the multitude of unused holes on view1
Appalling Draw FitAnonymous reviewerI purchased three units the Liatorp units were very good, the Besta unit is poor, the draw fit is so bad that I have removed them as I cannot stand looking at the poor result. I hope that I am able to get extra shelves and change the unit into a bookshelf, then throw the drawers away1
