If you choose the soft closing function for your BESTÅ, we recommend complementing the fronts with knobs/handles to make the drawers/cabinets more convenient to open.

Awful!! Don’t waste your money!Anonymous reviewerA had been looking at these for a while and waiting for them to come back in stock, when they came back in I ordered two, arranged delivery for a specific day. On the day only the frames arrived. Phoned ikea to be told the rest would arrive the next day. I had to take another day off to take delivery of the rest units. Started making them, frames were very wobbly, but I thought when the doors were on it might improve, all four doors were damaged, phoned ikea, arranged replacements but had to wait a week so put the damaged ones on in the mean time to discover when you open the doors the whole unit tips forward!! Fittings missing to fix to wall and one was against stairs so couldn’t fix anyway. Took them apart and now waiting for collection and refund. I wish I had read other views as so many people have had the same problems. Always been a big ikea fan, this has really changed my mind, so disappointed. Absolute rubbish1
Infuriating : (Anonymous reviewerIt’s cheap yes but I’ve spent an accumulated easily 4 hours on the phone to IKEA with various problems. I ordered two of these units, they arrived damaged but I compiled enough good parts to build one and had to get a refund for the other which took 4 or 5 calls. Then the screws in the door hinges didn’t move so I was sent replacements which did work but then the second door was 2mm lower than the first😂! And that’s not my installation as that’s just putting the screws into the pre-drilled hole. 😔1
