Great unit for the priceAnonymous reviewerI wanted something for a drinks cabinet in my dining room and this fits the bill as i didn't want to spend a lot. We have 3 cabinets side by side and its very sturdy. There was a push door mechanism damages, but that's not a big deal. looks very nice in my dining room with my wood floors.

They are straight forward to build you just have to take your time. The effort is worth the end result. The feet were different from when I purchased the new one compared to the old one in that they are now easier to adjust. I like the white gloss finish even though it’s a pricy unit I am happy with all of it.

The new glass top is not the same as previous versions, don’t understand why ikea have changed the colour of the glass top the old one was sleek and now it looks cheap

Its in a fab depth for storage has push open/close tech for those of us that like the no handle clean lines but it would be super easy to add handles/knobs if you wish. Wall fixing add stability! Super happy.

Just what I was looking for!Anonymous reviewerI was looking for something quite specific to fit a certain area and have a style that would match existing furniture. I looked all over until I clicked in the IKEA website. I found that by fitting two Besta cabinets together and adding the gloss black doors this piece fit the bill exactly. I added the brass legs which made the unit look very stylish and matched my Swoon furniture. I am so pleased with the overall effect and the cost was significantly less than others I had looked at so an absolute bargain as well.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
