Must be completed with BESTÅ suspension rail if you choose to mount the frame on the wall. This frame requires 2 suspension rails, sold separately.

Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

The max load for a wall-hung frame depends on the wall material.

120 cm wide frames require 5 legs, or 4 legs and one BESTÅ supporting leg.

Something changed: now hard to put togetherAnonymous reviewerwe've bought about 8 of these in the past and use them as slim bookcases. We just purchased another 2 and found them so hard to put together. There is a new type of screw in these sets that does not fit the holes drilled for them - but you'll have rounded off the screws before you realise that. Please put the old type of screw back in with this set.3
Unbalanced set: light box + heavy add-onsAnonymous reviewerThe Besta box is rather positive and lightweight, made of modern materials. Fastened by 4 dowels with plastic locks and no nails or screws to fix the back panel, it seems to not survive a considerable load. And in a configuration with 5 shelves and 3 doors, the Besta box does not look completely reliable to bear them, made of solid chipboard, which weight seems about 3 times more than the Besta box. Besides, the connection with the wall depends on the thin back panel where it is attached to.3

Impossible to put together straightAnonymous reviewerWe installed the top and sides of the frame perfectly level. However, the drawers and doors we've purchased are impossible to get straight. As you adjust one it then causes another to become misaligned. The hinges that come with the doors and drawers are terrible. The quality overall is just poor.1

Great cabinet, but...Anonymous reviewerCabinet is well made, but poorly designed! It is not rigid, and the back panel is loose in the slots and does not hold it rigid. I needed to fit steel corner brackets at the back to make the cabinet sold. 3

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
