BÅRSLÖV sofa-bed comes with soft shapes and generously sized, comfortable cushions that make it a perfect place to sink into.
This sofa converts quickly and easily into a spacious bed when you remove the back cushions and pull out the underframe.
Storage space under the chaise longue. The lid stays open so you can safely and easily take things in and out.
The chaise longue can be placed either to the left or right, so you can adapt the sofa to your space and your preferences.
The cover has been treated with easy-care, which means that spills won’t seep into the fabric, but stay on the surface and are easily absorbed with a dry cloth.
The fixed sofa cover is made of TIBBLEBY, a dope-dyed polyester fabric with a soft surface, light luster and a discreet herringbone pattern.

But almost impossible to clean, a water spill leaves marks, spot cleaner leaves marks, just sitting on it appears to leave marks, it looks grubby even when clean. Really disappointing, must be a design flaw as I’ve had loads of ikea sofas in the past and had nothing like this before

The chaiselong is shorter than previous Anonymous reviewerIt’s perfect but my mistake not checking the chaiselong length. Our previous one was longer and this one isn’t long enough to lay on it full length of kegs it’s much shorter which is a little disappointing as your kegs stick out (5’3” short) and makes it uncomfortable.
A screw was missing and another screw didn’t fit the holeAnonymous reviewerOnline order only. Due to the screw problem, assembly could not be safely completed. The sofa bed had to be replaced after four hours of labour. This would involve building the sofa all over again, or paying a handy man to do it.
It was my only bed - that or the floor. So I slept on it. It is very comfortable, but the two missing screws are a problem.
Do not buy! Rubbish!Anonymous reviewerUnfortunately, after a few months, you can't use it as a bed anymore as the part which comes out to make the sofa into a bed detaches constantly and starts moving around when lying on it. What's even worse, this same part collapses, creating a kind of hole, so there is no chance to sleep on the sofa. Not worth the money and a visit to Ikea to check how comfy it looks as a few months show the real bad quality of Ikea's product.

Think twice before buying…Anonymous reviewerI can unfortunately confirm that the part that comes out to make the sofa into a bed detaches all time and starts moving around when laying on it. Such a shame that Ikea hasn’t recalled this product yet or done anything to fix this flaw..
Spacious sofa bedAnonymous reviewerSofa is quite firm to sit on but we preferred that over being too soft. Comfortable to sit on the L shape. We used it as a bed for two evenings and it was comfortable, much better than a previously owned metal sofa bed.
We did have a problem putting it back as a sofa as the mechanism has been put on incorrectly. Fortunately we will repair this ourselves rather than sending back and replacing.
Very handy having the storage section. We’ve have bought vacuum bags to shrink store all of the bedding when not in use.

Alright but needs improvementAnonymous reviewerGood things: Sofa colour is great, fabric is easy to clean. The pull out bed is super easy and also great to use if you want to chill watching a movie. Storage under is great. Price is affordable.
Bad things: The width of the sofa is too short 52cm is not long enough so you don't feel comfortable sitting (Sofa requires 60cm from cushion to edge of the sofa to be comfortable).
As a result we have to take the cushions off every time which is not ideal. Wish they would have built this sofa with 60cm width from the cushions to the edge of the seat, like the Holmsund Sofa. Would make a HUGE difference.
Also material is extremely firm, both to sit on and the cushions. Its really really firm. Again something that would be very easy for IKEA to amend.
Fix those two things and it would be a pretty solid sofa.
Solution: Remove the cushions and get other ones or buy filling for the cushions and make them less padded.
