Tiny houseAnonymous reviewerWe bought the Balestrand small double for our daughters very small house. The bed is really well made and the drawer is deceptively bigger than it looks. It’s really sturdy and has a self closing mechanism so you don’t bang you shins on the open drawer. Highly recommended.

Would have liked more choice in the small doubles
Hard work!Anonymous reviewerI’m not happy with my bed. It was hard work putting it together and the centre wooden plank did not fit correctly. I didn’t use the bed for 6 days as I hadn’t occupied the flat straight away. It seemed to have settled. Never the less I now have issues with pulling out the draw. I cannot open it at all now so I shall have to take the mattress off to see if there’s some way I can fix it. I’m very disappointed

What is polyester?
Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
