Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

This furniture must be fixed to the wall with the enclosed wall fastener.Handle with care! A damaged edge or scratched surface can cause the glass to suddenly crack or break. Avoid bumps from the side - this is where the glass is most vulnerable.

Regret Buying — Damaged Straight Out of the BoxAnonymous reviewerThe panels were crushed and distorted straight out of the box, and assembly became impossible. No matter how much I tried to fix or adjust them, nothing aligned properly. To make things even worse, the paint was already peeling and chipped across several pieces.

Wasn't too difficult to put together, I do find the first one I bought is leaning forward (I have a carpet) so if you don't screw it into the wall it'll lean on a carpet. Also. It still gets dusty. As the sides have holes it doesn't keep the dust off. So might upgrade to a full glass gabinet but great for now!

You have to hold four parts together while trying to screw in the first fixing - just keep falling apart. Once done it is a great little product.
