Plug in wall lights which were so simple to put upAnonymous reviewerI bought these for the bedroom which I am absolutely delighted with which I think would go with most bedrooms decor being in silver with white shades (also in gold) so simple to install and just connects to and three pin plug socket no chiselling out the wall and connecting to electricity

This is not aligned to the pull switch Anonymous reviewerI've bought the silver ones years ago no problem but these 2 bronze ones I bought are both made wrong . The main bar that bends over goes to the right so it's not aligned to the wall pull switch . I came to see other reviews and I see someone has mentioned this but the feedback from ikea is wrong as it's not the moveable bit the person was talking about ,it's the actual fixed bar the bends over . Even if u move the lamp the bar is bending to the right instead the middle . I'm so anoyed by this . Its terribly made. IKEA YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS OF UR SHELVES AND SPEAK TO THE MANUFACTURERS. HAVE A LOOK FOR URSELVES . I will need to take these back

Lovely looking lamp but not aligned Anonymous reviewerLamp itself in brass looks nice and easy to install, keep in mind there is no screws in the box. However, despite the bracket attached straight and level to the wall the base/arm holding the light is off centre. It’s on my wall now so not much I can do unfortunately . I wouldn’t recommend these.
Can't buy new shadesAnonymous reviewerGreat lamp, but am extremely disappointed that it isn't possible to buy replacement shades now that the old ones are getting grubby. I expect better of Ikea.

I contacted head office about this a year ago and I got no reply so I had to purchase the wall lights again just for the shades. Ridiculous.

Plug inAnonymous reviewerI have just brought these today. It’s misleading as on the display it does not show the plug in. Got home and opened up and so disappointed. I also brought the floor lamp so have to take the whole lot back. Shame
Wall lightAnonymous reviewerEasy to fit and looks great. My only gripe is the white plastic cable which would look significantly better if it was the fabric covered type. I have considered cutting the cable off completely and adding a rechargeable bulb instead, maybe at a later date.
Nice, lightweight lampAnonymous reviewerThis is a great lightweight lamp, especially as I wanted it for a partition wall, I know it won't fall off (hopefully!). Couple of things to bear in mind - the white wire is a shame as it detracts from the lovely brass. The other is the shade is cream not white so didn't match the table lamp from this series I bought a while ago. Chain is rather short.
Also, I didn't get screws for the backplate which in the instructions doesn't say not included. Bit frustrating.

Walls Were Meant for ThemAnonymous reviewerI thought they were called Astrid which is after all a popular Scandinavian but then I saw it began with Ars instead, even though there is a little O on top of the A. Nonetheless to get back to my Arstids against the wall, I had used a pair of these in the lounge either side of the 42-inch Samsung, and they set it off perfectly if looking a little twee beside its stark techno sheen. Anyway, I have just converted the loft and having put a Malm single bed up there wanted something to illuminate my efforts. And what better than an Astrid at each gable end? Fitted as they are with the 2-for-1 pack of 470 lumen LEDs, I now lie up there with air-buds in and imagine listening to a concerto on a stage where musicians are bathed in a luscious limelight. Five stars!

Selected these to match the ones in the lounge and decided to fit them to gable ends. Lead only stretches so far so to make sure they reached the socket(s) I placed my Arstids against the wall first and pencilled round them. No complaints and five stars!
