A medium-firm 20 cm high foam mattress with 3 layers of comfort and support. A washable cover and a top layer of plush foam combined with memory foam and comfort zones for even body weight distribution.

A combination of 3 carefully selected foam layers provides support and comfort.

5 comfort zones right where you need them support hips and shoulders, creating a natural spine alignment.

Sink into a layer of plush foam on top – and the memory foam underneath helps to relieve pressure on your spine and joints.

The soft quilted stretch fabric follows your body movements and has added wadding for more cushioning.

The cover is removable and can be machine washed. Divide the cover to make it easier to fit in the washing machine.

All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.

Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

Please be aware that the mattress emits a very overpowering chemical smell which the instructions say should dissipate quickly in a well-ventilated room, but I found this not to be the case. The strong odour persists and is unbearable to sensitive individuals with breathing problems. I contacted IKEA to ask for a refund on the grounds that the odour isn't healthy and doesn't dissipate over the 72 hrs which the instructions give guidance for; they refused and would not acknowledge the odour as a serious issue at all. I stated to IKEA, How can a customer be aware that the product has an extreme odour issue without removing it from the factory packaging? A refund was even refused, with the mattress being unslept on and safely returned to the store within a short time frame. Please be aware that any raised concerns will be dismissed by IKEA, and there is no nuance to their decision-making process, as far as mattress returns are handled.1

I ordered online and wasn't able to check it out in the store first, which was a risk I knew I was taking. Previously I had a thick Costco memory foam mattress, so it may be the rough transition down to something much thinner. I keep finding myself thinking this mattress is just too hard to give a good night's sleep. It is not actually uncomfortable, it just fails to be comfortable. It does smell odd initially, but after a week or so it faded. I keep my mattress in an encasement for protection, which also helps to cut down on the odor.3
