5 comfort zones right where you need them support hips and shoulders, creating a natural spine alignment.
High-resilience foam on top gives a firm feel – and the memory foam underneath helps to relieve pressure on your spine and joints.
The soft quilted stretch fabric follows your body movements and has added wadding.
The cover is removable and can be machine washed. Divide the cover to make it easier to fit in the washing machine.

All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.
Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

DISASTERAnonymous reviewerI am extremely disappointed with this mattress. After only a short period of use, it has proven to be very uncomfortable and unsupportive. It either feels too soft and sinks in the middle or too firm with no proper pressure relief. I wake up with back pain and poor sleep quality, which was not the case before purchasing it.
For a brand like IKEA, I expected much better durability and support. Unfortunately, this mattress has not met expectations at all. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for proper spinal support or long-term comfort.
Too short for a standard double bed frameAnonymous reviewerI checked the dimensions before I purchased, but this still seems to be short of a standard double bed, leaving gap at the end. Changing from sprung to foam, in retrospect I would pay the extra for the hybrid mattress. For the price point it is not terrible, but I am not sure about the longevity as it seems to be wearing into a shape rather than recovering after just a few months.

Firm I went for - it's very supportive for me, a male currently at 113kg and 5ft 10 (I know, BMI says I'm fat but I'm not) and usually sleep on a side.
I've had so much better sleep since I swapped - and I don't get any aches either.
I can imagine it will get a bit sweaty in the summer but then that's what cooling bedding was made for.

After spending 5 years on a bed from a well known UK brand that went all soggy after 2 months, I forgot how it felt to sleep without moving trying to find a spot without bumps all night. WE're both on the slightly heavier side and it pays to have a foirm matteress in thos ecase, one can still add a soft pad on top, or choose the semi firm one if it's too much. I just like it like it is...

Awful mattress, poor manufacturing quality, overpowering chemical smell & IKEA don't care!Anonymous reviewerThe mattress is of awful manufacturing quality. Please be aware that the mattress emits a very overpowering chemical smell which the instructions say should dissipate quickly in a well-ventilated room, but I found this not to be the case. The strong odour persists and is unbearable to sensitive individuals with breathing problems. I contacted IKEA to ask for a refund on the grounds that the odour isn't healthy and doesn't dissipate over the 72 hrs which the instructions give guidance for; they refused and would not acknowledge the odour as a serious issue at all. I stated to IKEA, How can a customer be aware that the product has an extreme odour issue without removing it from the factory packaging? A refund was even refused, with the mattress being unslept on and safely returned to the store within a short time frame. Please be aware that any raised concerns will be dismissed by IKEA, and there is no nuance to their decision-making process, as far as mattress returns are handled.
