Damaged cornerAnonymous reviewerProduct arrived well packed but on assembly and putting top on noticed damage to a corner. It’s a pre damaged area as the corner has been touched up. Still need desk so reluctant to return.
Lovely itemAnonymous reviewerAs this can be made with left or right shelving, the instructions for assembly are a little confusing. I’ve recently built a full wardrobe run from Ikea and this was harder to fathom than that . Having said that the item once built is ideal for the use I have for it as a dressing table. Just wish it came with hole filler caps as the holes not used are on view.

The Kallax desk looks great with the Kallax unitAnonymous reviewerThe delivery came to other house and I had to get it from there caring to my third floor by the stairs. Assembling it by myself I found out that the very last piece of the top of the desk was cracked on both sides. I contacted The customer service team and they delivered a new one within a week.
I am very happy with this purchase that goes along with the Kallax unit by its side.

Unfortunately, this was delivered as a replacement for first Oder that arrived badly damaged. When I opened this one, it too was damaged on the same side but not as badly so decided keep as needed desk urgently. I would recommend collecting this from store so can check box beforehand and not risk a courier delivery. IKEA needs to add extra packaging to protect this when being delivered as obviously a problem.
