False Advertising - Poor FinishAnonymous reviewerCurious how none of the product photos show the real finish, that the top (if stood tall, sides if horizontal) will have 4 hideous large screw heads that don’t lie flush with the rest of the furniture. I used to love IKEA stuff but this is the second item in the same purchase that has left me regretting my order (sadly I’m disabled and IKEA’s delivery isn’t accessible - pay a fortune or go without - their returns less so, I can’t get this to a store)

Why offer a furniture system but not offer the colours to match???Anonymous reviewerNo idea why ikea makes systems so you can have build up the same looking pieces in your home. And then you go to add another piece and they dont carry on the same colour options. Why is this not available in the grey like all the other Kallax units???
Not what they used to beAnonymous reviewerThis is my third unit in my home. This one seems lesser quality to my last ones. It was damaged when I opened it and a part didn’t look chipped, it looked melted. Then when inserting the dowels on 2 parts it cracked the wood. I’ve managed to get to to an angle so it’s less visible but I will forever know it’s there

DisappointingAnonymous reviewerThe unit itself was okay till we tried to put doors on and a glass door and shelves (from Ikea) the square insert for the door had to be forced in and the glass door kept falling off , we used an electric screw driver and in the end we had to move to a different cube and used glue and screws, leaving a big hole in the unit
Six cube storage cube, to use as a small room dividerAnonymous reviewerWe chose the Kallax six cube as we had a four cube already, we slightly disappointed that the six cube was quite a bit thinner all round making it lower in height and also it does not have the glossy easily wiped surface, but it does divide the room like we wanted, the quality has gone down but I guess the price is still low.

Great storage for my craft roomAnonymous reviewerThe Kallax is a great piece of furniture for me in my craft room, the quality is excellent and is very straightforward to construct on my own a woman in my 60's. This unit along with the second identical one I purchased I keep under my Ikea cutting table. (Trestle frame and table top). I was hoping to have purchased the 3 shelf size of under frame with the Kallax only Ikea do not do this just the 2 or 4. Hopefully one day they will. This would then raise the height a bit more of my Kallax's as they stand a little low for what I wanted as I was hoping to use these as the base for ny cutting table. But instead they nestle under my table. Using accessories like doors, cube boxes, and shelf dividers they give me a tidy space to sew and quilt to my hearts content.
