The perfect addition to our new IKEA wardrobeAnonymous reviewerAfter careful measurements were taken it was possible to find the right Kallax (3x2) for the space available. We added drawers, shelves and doors to fit inside the squares. Adding an extra shelf to a square gives you the perfect height for OS maps end on. Very pleased with the result.

Great for extra storageAnonymous reviewerLove Kallax we have a few different sizes in our home. Thai one was bought for the landing to give my son a bit of an extra space. Nice and hardy and perfect fit. Easy to put together and love how you can chop and change the solutions to meet your needs. We have this one on its side with 2 cupboards and 2 sets of drawers in the top and 4 kallax boxes underneath . So much storage in such a small space.
False Advertising - Poor FinishAnonymous reviewerCurious how none of the product photos show the real finish, that the top (if stood tall, sides if horizontal) will have 4 hideous large screw heads that don’t lie flush with the rest of the furniture. I used to love IKEA stuff but this is the second item in the same purchase that has left me regretting my order (sadly I’m disabled and IKEA’s delivery isn’t accessible - pay a fortune or go without - their returns less so, I can’t get this to a store)

Why offer a furniture system but not offer the colours to match???Anonymous reviewerNo idea why ikea makes systems so you can have build up the same looking pieces in your home. And then you go to add another piece and they dont carry on the same colour options. Why is this not available in the grey like all the other Kallax units???
Not what they used to beAnonymous reviewerThis is my third unit in my home. This one seems lesser quality to my last ones. It was damaged when I opened it and a part didn’t look chipped, it looked melted. Then when inserting the dowels on 2 parts it cracked the wood. I’ve managed to get to to an angle so it’s less visible but I will forever know it’s there

DisappointingAnonymous reviewerThe unit itself was okay till we tried to put doors on and a glass door and shelves (from Ikea) the square insert for the door had to be forced in and the glass door kept falling off , we used an electric screw driver and in the end we had to move to a different cube and used glue and screws, leaving a big hole in the unit
Six cube storage cube, to use as a small room dividerAnonymous reviewerWe chose the Kallax six cube as we had a four cube already, we slightly disappointed that the six cube was quite a bit thinner all round making it lower in height and also it does not have the glossy easily wiped surface, but it does divide the room like we wanted, the quality has gone down but I guess the price is still low.
