1 star – Very disappointingAnonymous reviewerI purchased PAX wardrobes from IKEA and paid IKEA directly for both the wardrobes and installation. Unfortunately, the wardrobes were damaged following installation. I reported the damage and provided photographic evidence.
Since then, I have been repeatedly passed between IKEA and Taskrabbit. IKEA tells me to contact Taskrabbit, while Taskrabbit tells me to deal with IKEA. I have even been told to arrange disassembly myself, with a quotation of £650 + VAT simply to dismantle the wardrobes.
I paid IKEA directly and should not have to pay hundreds of pounds to dismantle damaged furniture or resolve an issue between IKEA and its installation provider.
I have spent hours contacting customer services, including waiting over 50 minutes to speak to someone, yet the matter remains unresolved.
Very disappointed with both the product and IKEA's customer service. I expected better from IKEA and would not purchase PAX again based on this experience.

Not white!Anonymous reviewerDoors are great quality but these are not white, they are a cream colour and stand out when the rest of the wall is painted white behind it! Have made these a ‘built in’ look so when the doors were put on it’s ruined the look. Real shame. Wish I’d have checked the reviews before buying

Good door, but why aren’t hinges included Anonymous reviewerGood look however imagine my surprise when I was putting the wardrobe together went to attach the doors and seeing I had no hinges. I thought it had been missed in the delivery but no… you have to pay a further £9 for a pack for one door. It’s not ideal but I think there needs to be a big disclaimer that they have to be purchased separately as this is not obvious to save other people the journey to Ikea the next day to purchase.

No longer sold with hinges, wardrobe at base no longer match ones bought 18 months ago.Anonymous reviewerDo you now have to buy hinges separately? Also the single wardrobe bought to match current wardrobes has a different look to the bottom - now the bottom piece is in line with the side panels, not set back. As a single 5ft women I could not build this myself any longer due to the three sides all joined together. I could not lift it upstairs. Hate the new design. Will it be buying IKEA wardrobes when I move house shortly. Whatever were they thinking?
Replacement doorAnonymous reviewerSadly one of the doors arrived damaged. After a call to customer services and replacement was sent, absolutely brilliant all round service from ikea. The doors are great quality, colour was perfect for what we wanted and the whole wardrobe looks amazing!
