How to apply for an IKEA for Business payment card

To apply for an IKEA for Business payment card, please complete the application form below in full.

Once completed, you can submit your application by either clicking the automatic email send button located at the bottom of the form or by emailing the original file to uk.business@ikea.com.

Please ensure you have filled all fields, including Print Name & digital signature at the bottom of the Terms & Conditions.

We will not accept any application without this having been completed.

How to shop with your IKEA for Business Payment Card

With your IKEA for Business Payment card, you can shop online, in-store or by ordering remotely with your local IKEA for Business team.

  • Shop online using your IKEA for Business payment card at the checkout.  Be sure to identify yourself as a Business Customer by ticking the box during Step 2 of the Checkout process. Please ensure that your Billing address details match those that were provided during your application for your IKEA for Business payment card.
  • Shop in store by using your IKEA for Business payment card at the checkout. Please note, work IDs will be required to process any in-store checkout transactions. If you have selected to use purchase orders, these will also be required before any purchase.
  • To shop remotely, please complete the order form below and send it to your local store contact email address

  • You will be required to provide your IKEA Business Network Account to complete the application. If you do not already have one, please sign up here. To apply for an IKEA for Business payment card, please complete the application form in full.

  • Once our accounts team receive the application form they will run standard credit checks and when completed they will contact you. This can usually take 2-3 days. 

    If the terms and conditions are not signed by a director, manager, company secretary or head teacher (for schools).

    If a utility bill is not enclosed (if not a school or charity), this will slow down the process.

    If applicable, this card will have a credit limit as confirmed by our accounts team at the time of the account opening. If you don’t use our credit facility you will be contacted to ask if you wish to continue as a payment in advance account. All payments must be completed prepurchase through either BACS payment or transfer with our accounting team.

    You should expect to receive your IKEA for Business payment card in 10-14 days. Once you receive your payment card you can then use this to purchase online, in-store or using remote email ordering through our local business teams in-store. 

  • To shop online, simply add all items you wish to purchase to your basket and when completing the checkout process, ensure you tick the ‘I’m a business customer' option in step two.  

    When you are entering your address details, we require that your billing address details for any purchase match with those provided on your payment card application.

    Finally, when you reach step 3 of the checkout process you will see the IKEA for Business payment card as a selectable option. Click this option and enter the full 10-digit number provided on your card.  

    You are also required to provide a customer reference to complete any online purchase, please provide your purchase order details in this section or the purchasing reference you require to show on your VAT invoice provided after your purchase.

  • Once you have received your IKEA for Business payment card you will be able to shop in any UK store. In some stores, we have dedicated business points where our in-house specialists are there to assist you with any questions. Please see the contact information for your local store.

    When passing through our checkouts you may be asked for extra identification, such as a business card, compliment slip etc. If you have an account using a purchase order,  you, or your representative will need the same. If you do shop in-store using the IKEA for Business payment card, you will be sent a VAT invoice and will have a 30-day payment facility, unless you have been set up with a payment in advance account, where you will be required to make an advance payment before the account can be used in-store.

  • You can request support and advice from your local IKEA for Business team. Simply complete an order form and email it to your local store contact email address. Find your local store contact information here.

    Once the order is received our team will look at stock availability and send you a quotation and delivery date (please allow 48 hours for a response).

    Please check the quotation details are correct, especially the delivery address and date and confirm acceptance of the quotation with our IKEA for Business team. Once received the delivery can then be arranged and a delivery date confirmed with you.

  • Payments can be made by credit card or by BACS Transfers. 

    Once your purchase is completed you will receive a VAT invoice.

    For any delivery order, this invoice will be generated and provided 24 hours after your order's full completion date.  

    If you pay in advance for your purchases, you will still be provided with an invoice after your purchase.

    For pre-purchase payment top-ups, we would ask that these are made prior to 12 noon the day before you would like your order to be processed.

  • At the current time, we do not offer this service when shopping with an IKEA for Business payment card. 

    This is available for business customers, but you will require an alternative payment method to your purchase payment card.

  • You can only use your IKEA for Business payment card in the UK.

    We do however offer a business service in many countries - please refer to the individual country website for more information.

  • Simply email the Business Accounts team on uk.business@ikea.com to inform them and they will organise a new payment card for you.

  • You are responsible, as stated in our terms and conditions to provide us with up-to-date information regarding the status of any cardholder. If your named cardholder leaves the company, please inform our accounts team at uk.business@ikea.com immediately. Please review our terms and conditions for information on responsibility for any purchase done with a payment card where the named cardholder has left your company.

  • When you get an IKEA for Business payment card and have a credit limit you will then be entitled to a 30 days payment facility. On the day your order is delivered, or you use your card to shop in-store a VAT invoice will be generated, and you will be asked to settle the bill within 30 days.

  • Yes, with all orders using your IKEA for Business payment card you will receive a VAT invoice which is issued on the day of delivery or purchase if in-store. You will then have 30 days in which to pay for the invoice.

    Please ensure you also contact our accounting team with any issues so any outstanding invoices for returned goods can be queried accordingly.

  • Please contact our accounts team at uk.business@ikea.com urgently to investigate, we will investigate the invoices and take appropriate action. 

  • Firstly, check that all the details you have entered are correct, ensure you have been able to select a delivery date and filled in the matching billing address to those provided on your payment card application.

    If all the details are correct and you cannot checkout without encountering an error, please speak to our customer services team.

    If your account is blocked for any reason, customer services will transfer you to our accounts team for assistance.
