The balcony baroness

Ewa is completely wild about plants! Inspired by the lush fruits and vegetables on neighbouring balconies, Ewa decided to turn what was once an empty concrete box into a living jungle. She now has a steadily growing number of 70 plants on what is known as one of the most enchanting balconies in Kraków (and 120 plants more in her apartment).

With an urban garden on this scale in such a small area, Ewa has gone vertical to find space for her plants, as well as her impressive arsenal of gardening tools and supplies.

The vertical wonder of a hanging garden

When you can’t build out, build up! With a sturdy shelving unit like HEJNE or HYLLIS, you can bring your gardening to new heights and make better use of your vertical space.
