What should I do if my appliance has stopped working?

We're sorry to hear that your IKEA appliance has stopped working. You can find the manufacturer in questions, and their contact details below.

If you've only just received your IKEA appliance and found the appliance isn't working, check through the instruction manual and troubleshooting guides that were supplied with the product.  These should also be on the product information page on the IKEA website - scroll down to "Product Details" and choose "Assembly & Documents" to find the PDFs.

If you cannot resolve the issue after troubleshooting, please contact us with your proof of purchase.

If you have had the appliance for some time and it has now stopped working, you may be within the guarantee period to make a guarantee claim.  IKEA appliances have a guarantee period of 5 years, with the exception of LAGAN and TILLREDA appliances which have a 2 year guarantee, and appliances purchased from the Re-Shop and Re-Use area of IKEA stores have a 1 year guarantee.

Check the Appliance Claims page on our website to identify the supplier of your appliance, and contact the relevant manufacturer directly for support.  Ensure you have your proof of purchase for your guarantee claim.

If the contact details for the manufacturer of your appliance are not listed on this page, please contact us for further assistance.
