Do I need to clear the room before scanning, snapping, or uploading in IKEA Kreativ?
IKEA Kreativ can erase existing furniture digitally, so there's no need to move anything around before scanning. How it works depends on the scan type you're using.
Photo Snap & Upload
Use the Eraser Tool to remove items from your room:
- On the web — click Eraser in the bottom toolbar, then click any item with a yellow outline to remove it. Select Hide All to remove everything at once. Click Done when satisfied.
- In the app — tap Erase in the right sidebar, then choose Hide All, Show All, or tap individual items. Tap the checkmark when done.
Whole Room Scan
The room starts completely empty, so no erasing is needed.
