What types and colours of kitchen worktops are available?
We have plenty of worktop options to suit your needs in several materials and colours. Worktops are available at IKEA, both in pre-cut sizes and custom-made, to fit your kitchen.
Custom-made kitchen worktops can be:
- Materials: laminate, thick (wood) veneer, porcelain and quartz composite
- Length: between 15 and 400 cm (depending on selected material)
- Depth: between 30 and 140 cm (depending on selected material)
- Thickness: 20, 28 or 38 mm (depending on selected material)
- Colours: over 50 different colours, including matte, high-gloss, stone effect and wood veneer

When you need a worktop at a great price, and you don’t mind adjusting the size of your worktop to your kitchen yourself, a pre-cut kitchen worktop is a great choice. You get the same high quality as a custom-made worktop at a lower cost.
