What delivery options does IKEA offer?
IKEA offers Home Delivery, Parcel Delivery, and Click & Collect. Home Delivery includes 'To The Door' and 'In The Home' options. Parcel Delivery is ideal for smaller items through post and Click & Collect allows you to pick up your order from an IKEA store or Collection Points.
Home Delivery: This option brings your order right to your address.
Your items are delivered to your selected delivery address. 'Authority to Leave' can be selected, if you are not home to accept your delivery, the Transport Service Provider (TSP) will leave your delivery in a safe and secure location. Every effort will be made to deliver the products to your room(s) of choice, provided it is safe and practical to do so. However, if our delivery team believe it is unsafe to deliver the products to the room(s) of choice, then an alternative room will be agreed with you where possible.
Parcel Delivery: We have two parcel sizes: small and large. Parcel size restrictions are determined by weight. Small parcels are under 15KG and large parcels from 15KG up to 100KG. The delivery date provided is an estimate with a lead time of 2 days. Parcel orders are delivered to your selected delivery address with the option to add an 'Authority to Leave' as long as there is a safe and secure location to do so.
Click & Collect: The Click & Collect service allows you to collect your order from our main IKEA stores. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an SMS or email notification with instructions on how and where to collect your order. You will need to have photo ID and a copy of your proof of purchase ready to show the co-workers at the store. If you have arranged for someone else to collect the order on your behalf, they will need to bring the original order confirmation or invoice and photo ID. In the event where you are unable to collect your order, it will be held for upto 3 days from the collection date.
Click & Collect Near You (CCNY): Ideal for customers who may live further away from our IKEA stores, this service allows you to save on travel time and instead meet a delivery driver at one of our Tesco Collection Points. When you place your IKEA order, you will be asked to select a time and date that suits you best from the provided list. You will then be asked to meet your delivery driver at the selected location on your booked time and date to collect your order.
Lockers: This service allows you to collect items from an IKEA locker in store, or an external locker at various Tesco and Shift locations. Once your order is ready at the Collection Point, you will receive an SMS or email with instructions on how to collect your order.
Internal Collection Points: This service allows you to collect your order from our smaller IKEA Order and Collection Point stores.
External Collection Points: This service is only available for smaller parcels and allows you to collect your order from a choice of local convenience stores, post offices and more via DPD pick-up points.
