IKEA provides customers with the possibility to contract certain services in addition to the purchase. IKEA commits to providing the Services contracted by the Customer on the date and in the time frame agreed upon in the quote that IKEA provides to the customer. The date agreed upon with the Customer for the Delivery, Assembly and Installation may be changed at the Customer's request free of charge, whenever operationally possible, provided that the Customer requests it 24 hours in advance of the scheduled date for the Service. If the delivery location is changed, it may entail an additional cost.
The Customer must ensure that the conditions of space and height of the place where installation and/or assembly of the items purchased are appropriate, and provide notice at the time of entering into the contract if there is any obstacle that prevents or hinders the delivery of the merchandise to the place indicated, such as: narrow doorways, narrow stairs, non-existence or inadequate lifts, pedestrianised streets or streets with restricted hours etc. In these circumstances, the situation will be assessed in order to agree upon a special price for delivery. IKEA will provide the service within 24 hours in Zone A, within 72 hours in Zone B and in the case of Zone C, IKEA will inform the customer of the days of the week on which the delivery will be made, depending on the post code of where the delivery will be made. These time periods will start being counted from the date on which the payment made by the Customer has been confirmed.
The delivery time will be the one agreed upon with the Customer in the order that IKEA provided for these purposes. If the order includes items whose delivery date is later than the other merchandise, the Customer may choose to wait until all the merchandise arrives and for it all to be delivered together, either by paying the storage costs or by paying for two deliveries. Deliveries to post office boxes or public places are not permitted.

After the storage term agreed upon between IKEA and the customer has expired, the place, date and time frame will be confirmed with the customer to make the delivery. If it is not possible to make said delivery, IKEA will require the Customer to establish a time period.
After the maximum period of 28 days from the date on which the IKEA storage was hired, a charge of EUR 5 will apply for each day of delay up to a maximum of fifteen days. After this term has passed, IKEA will be released from its obligation to store the merchandise. In this case, IKEA will proceed to refund the amounts for the services not provided.

If the Assembly Service is hired, the assembly will start on the same day that the merchandise is delivered, although it does not have to be completed within the same time frame agreed upon. It is estimated that the cost in case of hiring a new delivery service to return the product to IKEA will be the same as what the customer paid for the delivery of the merchandise to their address, if it is the same amount of purchased goods, in the same delivery area and to the same store from which the purchase was made. You will be solely responsible for any depreciation to the goods resulting from any handling that is unnecessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods.
To exercise the right to withdraw, you must notify the IKEA CONTACT CENTER ESPAÑA, Plaza Espíritu Santo, Parcelas 1-3, post code 33010- Oviedo (Asturias), telephone number 902 400 922 and email address [email protected] of your decision to withdraw from the contract through an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the model withdrawal form that appears below, though using it is not obligatory, given that you also have the option to fill out and electronically send the model withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement through our website to [email protected]. If you choose this option, we will send you the receipt of said withdrawal without delay through a durable medium (for example, via email). To comply with the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the communication stating that you are exercising this right before the corresponding deadline expires.
(*) The rights contained in this document are those set forth in the regulations applicable to remote sales. After the 14 calendar days recognised by law, the IKEA return policy shall apply: if the product has not been used and it is in its original packaging, IKEA will refund the full amount of the purchase using the same payment method used by the Customer. Otherwise, IKEA will send the Customer a Refund Card without an expiry date for the full amount. The sales policy is only applicable to the articles, and is not applicable to the contracted services under any circumstances.
