How do I place my order online?
You can make your online purchase from any device and decide where and how you want to receive your order. ¿Any questions about how it works? Go to the Shopping Online page and find out more about the possibilities we offer. To start an order, select the products you want and add them to the shopping bag.
Then select the delivery type you prefer:
- Home delivery: we'll send your order to the address you choose. If you select home delivery, we will ask you for the postcode of the place where you would like your order delivered.
- Click & Collect: to collect your order at any of our IKEA stores, at our Delivery Point in Pamplona or at one of our partner companies' Collection Points.
If you live outside Spain and choose Click & Collect, you should enter the postcode 99999 in your personal details to continue with your purchase.
Before making the payment you'll see your complete order with the final prices of the items and the service you have selected, the Click & Collect pick-up date or the delivery time slot chosen for home delivery.
After making the payment, you will receive instant confirmation of your order via email. To pick up your purchase, you will need to present the identity document you used when you purchased the product. For Click & Collect orders, you will need to present the Order Acknowledgement email as well as your identity document.
The prices that appear on our website may vary upwards or downwards*, depending on the store.
*In national or local promotions that consist of combinations and 3-for-2 offers, the customer shall pay the non-discounted price. The discount shall then be refunded within 72 hours via the same method of payment as the one you used to make your purchase. All our prices include VAT.
Range of items available
All the items shown on the website are available to purchase online, except for natural plants, food and IKEA Food products, fabric by the metre, made-to-measure worktops, items on order, Persian rugs, items with the same reference in several colours/sizes and Gift Cards.
Products bought by shopping online have the same guarantee as products bought in IKEA stores.
You can check if the items in your shopping bag are in stock.
A product that was confirmed as available may have run out of stock during the order preparation process. If this happens, we'll contact you and offer you a solution.
Bear in mind that our stock levels are updated every 60 minutes.
On our website you can find different types of offers and promotions. In online purchases will apply:
- All national discounts offered to IKEA Family members, as long as no limitation is specified in the offer. By entering the number of your IKEA Family card you can enjoy the benefits of being a member. If you're not a member yet, ask for your card here.
- Promotions that consist of combinations will only be available for purchase through the Click & Collect service or in the store. In these promotions, you will have to pay the price of the item without discount and we will refund the amount of the discount within 72 hours through the same means of payment used to make the purchase.
- Local offers will only be available through the Click & Collect service, selecting the store that offers the promotion.
Can I contract assembly or installation services for my online order?
You can't contract extra services such as assembly or installation when placing your online order.
If you need to contract assembly, installation or any other optional services for your online purchase, go to your IKEA store or collection point and ask for the services you need at the transport counters.

Vouchers and gift cards for online purchases
If you buy discounted items on a promotion card, you will receive an SMS with a code for the matching discount, which you can exchange in your next purchases.
To claim the discount you need to present the SMS with the code and the online purchase receipt at the point of sales line.
You can only claim your discounts at physical IKEA stores.
The voucher cards (SMS coupons) are valid for 6 months from the day of purchase.
You can't currently use gift and voucher cards (SMS coupons) in your online purchases.
What payment methods can be used for online orders?
You can pay for your order with your credit or debit card (VISA or Mastercard). You can also pay via your PayPal account. With PayPal, you can pay securely for all your IKEA purchases without any additional charges.
You can now use your gift card to pay for your online purchases if you select Parcel Post or Home Delivery instead of Express Delivery.
With an IKEA VISA card, you have the benefit of immediate and flexible finance. You can choose the finance terms that best suit you and finance your purchases over a period between 3 to 48 months interest-free (0% APR).

Can I pay for my Online order via PayPal?
With IKEA.es you can pay securely for all your purchases, at no extra cost, via your PayPal account. If you have any query or problem regarding your order, please call us on 900 400 922.
3D-Secure payment system
This is an anti-fraud security control system that guarantees you more security and solid authentication when you use your debit or credit cards to shop on the internet.
Depending on the type of card, this type of control is also called “MasterCard SecureCode” or “Verified by Visa”.
When you enter the details of your bank card, you go to a screen that asks you to enter a secret code consisting of a numerical code that, depending on your bank, may be sent to you in different ways:
- Numerical code sent to your mobile via SMS.
- Or with a code card previously provided by your bank that enables you to clearly identify the numerical code.
Your financial institution will authenticate the transaction in a few seconds and it will also confirm that you are the one making the purchase.
If your bank uses an SMS, remember that when you apply to a bank for a credit/debit card, it will ask you for some data, one of which will be your mobile phone number. If you have changed your mobile phone, we'd recommend that you get in touch with your bank.
If your bank uses the code card as a method for providing the security code, you'll have received it when they sent you the card and other documentation. If they didn't, we'd recommend getting in touch with them so they can send you one.
Sistema de pago 3D-Secure
Se trata de un control de seguridad contra el fraude para garantizarte una mayor seguridad y una sólida autenticación cuando utilices tus tarjetas de débito o crédito para comprar en Internet.

Una vez hayas introducido los datos de tu tarjeta bancaria, pasarás a una pantalla en la que se te pedirá que introduzcas una clave secreta formada por un código numérico que, dependiendo de tu banco, se te proporcionará de diferente manera:

- O mediante una tarjeta de coordenadas que te facilita tu entidad bancaria previamente y en la cual serás capaz de identificar el código numérico de manera inequívoca.
Tu entidad financiera autenticará la transacción en unos segundos y además, confirmará que eres tú quién realiza la compra.
Si tu banco utiliza el envío de SMS, recuerda que cuando solicitas una tarjeta de crédito/débito a un banco, la entidad te pide unos datos, uno de ellos es tu número de móvil. Si has cambiado de móvil, te recomendamos que te pongas en contacto con tu banco.
Si tu banco utiliza la tarjeta de coordenadas como método para proporcionarte la clave de seguridad, te la habrá facilitado en el momento en el que te envió la tarjeta y el resto de documentación. Si no fue así, te recomendamos que te pongas en contacto con ellos para que te la envíen.
When will I receive the invoice for my Online order?
We generate a regular invoice for all online orders, so that you can check the details of your transaction at the point where you confirm your purchase.
We will send you a regular invoice (which is valid for tax purposes) with your order if you have chosen the home delivery option “There’s no hurry; I can wait”.
If you have chosen the home delivery option “As soon as possible”, you will receive your invoice at the time of your purchase.

Incidents with online payment
If you have any kind of issue when you make your payment, it's possible that your card doesn't have the internet shopping payment option activated or it has a set purchasing limit. Consult your bank or virtual bank office.
