They lied! :-) (only) 15-hours of burn time?BryanI set up 25 luminaries for Christmas Eve, and distributed across the sidewalks and walk ways of our house. We lit the candles at 4.30 pm, and monitored all night - even early into the morning as I wrapped Christmas presents. Every single one remained lit, ALL night. In fact, I went to collect the bags with the candles at almost noon the next day, and every candle was still burning. I felt badly throwing them out, as almost every candle still had plenty of life. Excellent product! Stable base. Plenty of wax. Reliable wick. ... I'm very pleased.

bring back the white ones!AnonymousOverall, I love these candles. They are more substantial than a regular votive, but much more versatile than a regular pillar candle. My only wish is that IKEA would bring back the pure WHITE ones. I have been forced to purchase them in "natural" (basically ivory) for the past couple of years. All of the other candles are available in White ~ including the package of mixed candles (which actually includes a couple of these particular candles....in White). I would be unbelievably happy if that occurred.

Love these votives!YvetteThese are my go-to votives. While I agree with the others that toward the end they burn unevenly, and need a small metal disc attached to the wick at the bottom, I can still use them in a way that sort of compensates.
I basically put them in a faceted cocktail glass, and I use a white cupcake liner at the bottom. The wax still spills out of the cupcake liner, but the liner still helps to get the wax out of the cocktail glass after I freeze it (which also helps to remove the wax). I am considering white silicone cupcake liners to use instead.
Anyway, these votives in faceted cocktail glasses are STUNNING. I have considered many other cute tealight/votive options, including the timeless mercury glass, but nothing compares to using a faceted cocktail glass with these votives!!! For one, this way of doing it gives a more substantial look, since it's bigger than average tealight/votive looks. For another, the look is clean, timeless, and "luminous." I love it completely!!!
