Not enough supportKristenI tested this pillow at my local ikea and it seemed nice and firm with a bit of squish. Upon getting it home and unwrapping, it is a lot thinner than expected and not as full of the one in store. When I leaned my back into it the whole pillow goes flat, so there is no support.
These are great for decoration but won't work for my need. I will be returning them as they're not firm/supportive enough.3
Must have inner cushion!!!KarinaI have been on the hunt for a feather inner cushion insert. And of course IKEA has them!!! And I absolutely love it, I got the 20x20 size and also had to get the 26x26 size. I love how it molds to your comfort. I just love them so much, a must have.5

Poor qualityErinI’ve bought these inserts for many years. I’ve noticed recently that they are severely under-filled and flat, making the pillows look really bad. I will not be purchasing these again. Sad, because these have been my go-to insert for forever.1

Soft, but the odor is awfulTaunyaThese feather inner cushions are soft, but once I sat down on the couch with them, a strong animal/feather odor became very obvious. I followed IKEA’s care instructions, including washing and thorough drying, and the smell did not improve. I had already removed the tags by the time I realized it wouldn’t go away, so returning them wasn’t an option. I would not recommend these if you’re sensitive to smells.1
Poor qualityJessicaImmediately after opening I put it in the washing machine per the care instructions. At the end of the cycle everything in the machine was covered in smelly feathers. Several of the seams on one of the long edges had opened in the wash and the feathers exploded. It took so long to clean everything and made the pillow unusable since half of its contents were inside my washing machine. Very poorly made.1
Not a floor cushionJasminThis is not a floor cushion. I wish it had been in the description. It completely flattens out when you sit on the floor with it. Also, the duck feather smell is very pungent, even after airing out for a few days. My dog noticed it and then I did. I need to return these.2

These are NOTHING like the older ones!!JeanneI have bought many of these 26 x26 inserts over the past years. I am still using them and they are in excellent condition. I decided to do a pillow cover switch out. I was also adding a couple more and needed more Ikea inserts. I was shocked how "under-filled" these new ones are compared to the original and this is after I fluff them up in the dryer (using no heat). Honestly, they look to be half the amount of the original fully filled inserts in a side by side comparison. Ikea, please bring back your original inserts.1
Nice soft feathersJulieThe pillow forms were nice . The fullness of the feathers were really more suited to an18x18 pillow cover . I decided to open up the forms and add some poly fil to them to get them fuller . That worked very well . The actually for me s measured 20x20 , but they needed more fill5
