Broke while microwaving Luis AngelHave them about a year. Use them daily. Today I wrapped two slices of thick bacon in paper towel placed on a Oftast dinner plate and microwaved for 4 minutes. The plate shattered in several pieces after 3 minutes. Is this type of plate suitable for microwaves?4

Strong at very affordable prices DayoungI have used OFTAST for more than five years. Big and small plates/bowls. Maybe I have more than 30 pieces in all. Among them ONLY ONE plate was broken which was my mistake. I dropped it from counter to floor. I used them literally everyday for two clumsy adults and two wild boys. They are used on table, in a microwave and a dishwasher. Honestly I can’t understand how some of reviewers are saying OFTAST is fragile. I recommend them highly. 5
FragilDanaThese are a miss for us. They look like nice, plain Corning wear, but cheaper....yah yhe edges chip like crazy. We are a adults. Its not like we are juggling them. If you are just starting out and/or need cheaper plates these are a good option. Just plan on a revolving door or replacement.2

FragileMordechaiI have them for a little less than a year. I was holding two plates and placed them on a granite counter at an angle when they shattered in my hand, cutting deeply into my finger. I did not need medical care, but it was not a little scratch, either. Be careful. 1
You get what you pay for—chipped after 1 useAmyThese are cheap, but you get what you pay for. I’ve used these plates once, dishwashed them, and noticed a chip on one as I put them away this morning. Probably not worth the effort of returning, but I’d rather pay 5-8x as much for a Corelle plate and know it will last in good condition for many years (even decades) than get plates that don’t even stay new for a weekend.2

"The challenge when I designed OFTAST series was to combine good function with a very low price. I gave the plates and bowls a timeless, functional and harmonious form that makes both the manufacturing and transport efficient. And I chose to use the material tempered glass, which is thin and elegant, yet durable. My hope is that OFTAST will therefore work well in many kitchens all around the world."
