Good space saverVictoriaHolds a lot, drain is not the greatest but it works, good in small space
Weird and smallBrandonWe bought this because we liked the way it looked but realized that it’s an awkward size. We have small plates from another store and they do not fit in the slits unless we force them in. It doesn’t hold very much and the only drainage is onto the drying pad. I don’t think it’s an awful product, it’s just not right for us.
Good design; rusts immediatelyMilaThis is perfect for a small space and easy to put together but the rust is nuts. I've had it about a week and am battling rust marks on it almost every day. Expensive for what it is.
Into the recycle binShaneExtra large, extra tall, and less convenient. It somehow stores fewer dishes than your conventional dish drying rack. And the metal tray doesn't drain out on one side into the sink. We recycled ours because we lost our receipt.
Great dish rackClarisaSturdy and holds a surprising amount of dishes in a compact space. Holds dishes very securely, even large bulky items. It’s been a game changer in our kitchen!
Good product BalwinderHigh quality
GoodDanielEasy to fit in any size kitchen
Reduces spaceAlexisIts better and reduces space in the counter.
Defective, impossible to assemble. Had many scratches/slight dents in the box.KaliPurchased in store after seeing several of these dish racks in the kitchen show rooms. I unboxed it and tried to assemble it - the screw holes are misaligned and the base cannot attach to the side piece because the holes in the base are slightly too set inward. I tried switching the side pieces and flipping the base around to make sure I wasn't just assembling it incorrectly, and it will not fit together. When comparing the side pieces faced in towards each other, the holes that would line up across the base are not even with each other, so even if I could attach one side to the base, I would have to warp the base in order to get all three pieces to fit together.
Also, the metal side pieces have scratches, small dents, etc fresh out of the box. Even if I could have assembled it, it's disappointing to see.
Aesthetically love it, functionally I expected more…SayakaI had this long time ago and recently moved into a new apartment and I bought this as an additional to dish washer. I remembered it as great but I noticed it’s kinda wobbly and bottom is perforated to drain the water but it doesn’t drain well and I wished they put some kind of catcher tray or something underneath so that it just won’t drain on a kitchen counter.
Terrible design! Don’t waste your moneyZuhalThis dish rack doesn’t hold the dishes. It’s not sturdy. Terrible design and a complete waste of money!
Dish rackMichelleNice and large. Upper section is great for plates, but no safe place to put bowls on top shelf safely. I use the bottom shelf for coffee mugs.
We bought it to storeGilesWe bought it to store bread on the bottom and salt, pepper, sugar and butter on the top. It works great!
Looks like a great ideaRenataGot rid of it. Looked like a great idea at the store but it was too big at overcrowding by the sink.
Space SaverBarbaraGreat item for organizing drying dishes - great space saver.

Worth the moneyArjunSturdy and useful !!
RustyHanI’ve only had this for two weeks and it has already rusted at the bottom. Due to the design of the bottom water cannot effectively drain, plus the steel is probably not good enough.
Not stainless steel?KellyDoes not look like the picture, not at all shiny. Not sure what I’m missing, but it appears to be galvanized steel? Or at least it’s coated in a grease or film. I’ve been wiping and scrubbing it down and black residue continues coming off. Not sure how this is supposed to hold items to eat off of if it’s this dirty.
Fashionable & FunctionalDianneDesigners say you need to pay attention to both form and function, and IKEA did just that with this dish rack. The Ordning is both compact and nice to look at-a vast improvement over the traditional plastic ones that are an eyesore in today's modern kitchen. Well done IKEA!

What is stainless steel?
Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing items – without losing its valuable properties.
