Brackets cracked and snap.Anonymous reviewerWe have had 2 of these chairs for a number of years. Very pleased with how they look against our worktop. However the flimsy brackets holding the seat and frame together have cracked and broken (all 8 of them). Trying to get replacements has been difficult even though they should be available from IKEA's small spare parts service. It transpires that the stools are to be discontinued early in 2027 so I wonder if the brackets will ever be available. IKEA customer services just fob you off and say keep checking the web site, even when you write a letter of complaint. I would advise against purchasing these just in case you have the same issue as us. Perfectly good stools now aimed for the rubbish dump.2
