Bad design, bad quality.Anonymous reviewerI'm an ikea fan but this is a poor quality product. The problem is that the screws, although substantial, seem to come loose remarkably easily and quickly regardless of how tight you make them initially. The stool then becomes very unstable and therefore, in my opinion, dangerous. So unless you are happy to keep an allen key on hand and to re-tighten them every couple of weeks I would consider another product. Disappointing.1

Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
