Had it up for a few weeks max, when it fell over - the plastic on one side sheared off where the top bit joins the top of the forked stand, and on the other side the plastic has cracked but not sheared off. Won't be very stable now, and won't be able to glue it. It was expensive, too. Guess I'll have to somehow lug it back to Ikea and see if I can get a refund.
Poor quality Anonymous reviewerI feel the product doesn’t merit the premium price tag considering it is very flimsy and if and when it does break it can’t be repaired as it’s moulded plastic.

Sadly cannot recommend Anonymous reviewerWas given this last year as a gift after using small cheap ones for years. Was very pleased initially but even though it has never been moved or overloaded (3/4 full, no coats etc) and never bent last week the two vertical poles snapped. Out of the 180 days since purchase so Ikea offer nothing. Just a substandard product which lasts under a year. How upsetting for this to be considered a good lifespan for what is described as an heavy duty rail and isn't cheap.
Not as good as I hoped it would beAnonymous reviewerI bought this very recently to replace a “Mulig” (that cost £9) as I thought it would be super sturdy and look a bit better. Sadly it’s already sagging in the middle after just one day, so might just retrieve the good old Mulig (that hasn’t sagged one bit) from the garage and do away with this banana shaped one. Not impressed.

Perfect for winter coatsAnonymous reviewerWe bought this last December for our new flat that didn't have much storage. It held four people's winter coats until now (end of October). I have just realised that the maximum weight is 15 kg and I can guarantee that it had more than 30 kg on it the whole time and it looked fab. Unfortunately it started bending and it ended up breaking. But I can't say it didn't do the job until the end. I would buy it again but unfortunately will need to get one that can take more weight. Would definitely recommend this rack, it looks retro and definitely does the job.
