Bring shades of gray into your kitchen

Gray kitchens continue to be popular because of their versatility. Gray has a neutral quality that allows it to work with many different interior styles. Our gray kitchens are available in several different shades and just as many door finishes.

Two toned kitchens

We would suggest starting with a gray kitchen and incorporating colors like black, white, cream or a light wood to achieve this look.

Here are some ways you can do this:

  • Use another color for accents, such as trims or accessories.
  • Use gray for all of the cabinets against a wall and use another shade on your kitchen island.
  • Use a darker color like dark gray or black for your base cabinets and keep your upper cabinets light to keep your kitchen feeling bright.

Finishing touches

Choosing countertops

Since gray is almost considered a neutral, most countertops will work with a gray kitchen. A lighter color countertop or an almost black countertop in stone or laminate are our favorite combinations.

Choosing appliances

Black or stainless steel appliances work well with a gray kitchen. The stainless steel will blend in seamlessly, while the black will standout more but still complement the gray cabinets.

Choosing hardware

If you want to make a statement, black or gold will give contrast. Knobs and handles in shades of silver, chrome or nickel will complement any shade of gray.
